1. Zealot's Fire - For 60 seconds, whenever you use a skill on an ally, all foes adjacent to your target are struck for 5-37 fire damage.
- This means whenever you cast a spell on an "ally", you do AoE damage to anything near the ally you casted on (Even yourself). 2. Balthazar's Aura - For 10 seconds, foes adjacent to target ally take 10-22 holy damage each second. - Yes it does do damage to anyone around the targeted ally you cast it on (Even yourself). I don't recommend this spell tho since it's a monstrous 25 energy to cast, well maybe it's ok for PvE >.> ================================================== ============== For being a Smiting Monk, I do have a recommendation that works quite well in my guilds PVP Smiting Monk build. If you're going to use Zealot's Fire, find a bunch of skills that you can cast on yourself or an ally with a short cast time and quick recharge. Spam these skills quickly for maximum effect. |

some skills
Quote:
i'm currently a Mo/W20, (PvE that is,) and the skills I'd reccomend are: Zealots Fire - as stated above Balthazars Aura - as stated above Symbol of Wrath - All adjacent foes take 8+ holy damage Healing Breeze - Ally gains health regeneration of 3+. (If you're planning on being a smiter monk, use this on yourself. If a fellow ally is REALLY in need of healing, use it on them, although the healer monk should have already taken care of him.) You might also want to grab Mark of Protection [elite]. It increases your health by X every time you take damage. |

i just started a monk and i have to agree, healing is boring. i moved my party menu down center next to my skills bar so i didn't have ot drag my mouse so far to click on a name.
click on name, click on healing skill, click on name, ... etc |
